Robert Pires

Robert Pires is a former professional footballer with just over 500 appearances to his name. He was a creative winger, also deployed as an attacking midfielder, known for his ability to create goal scoring opportunities. Robert’s playing days began in France with Metz and then Marseille before moving to Arsenal. At Arsenal he became part of the ‘Invincibles’ who went the entire 2003-04 season unbeaten.

He was capped 79 times by France. Robert retired in 2015 with the following honours to his name: Premier League (2), FA Cup (2), Coupe de La Ligue (1), FIFA World Cup (1), UEFA European Championship (1) and FIFA Confederations Cup (2).
